As a keynote and motivational speaker, Blumer punctuates his insights about entrepreneurship with quick culinary demos, and spins stories of his inspiring journey from recording artist’s manager to Food Network host. Clients have included Sysco, Manulife, California Tourism and The University of Western Ontario.
Culinary Consulting
Blumer is an innovative problem-solver and brainstormer who approaches every challenge with a distinctive perspective and inventive ideas. He consults on new product development, branding, packaging, and marketing campaigns. Clients have included Tabasco, The Gladstone Hotel, and Mrs. Dash.
Food Justice Advocacy
Blumer advocates for equitable and environmental food policy initiatives with inspiring, consciousness-raising, habit-changing messaging. He is a long-term ambassador for Second Harvest, a perishable food bank, and Love Food, Hate Waste, a national zero-waste initiative. He is on the Board of Advisors for ChefsCycle, and the only rider to have participated in all eight of its annual 3-day, 300-mile bike rides. He has also been an ambassador for the U.S. State Department’s Culinary Diplomacy Project and a jury member for Impact Canada’s $10M Food Waste Reduction Challenge.
